AI QUALITY SKILLS

AI that does quality work the way an auditor would

Ten ready-made assistants for findings, audit checklists, reports, corrective-action reviews, 8Ds, root cause analysis and quality documents. They follow a proven method, never invent evidence and never copy the standard. For Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini.

A blank chat writes findings. It also invents them.

The same audit notes — a purchase order placed with a supplier not on the approved list — given to two assistants:

A generic AI chat

Cites a clause it guessed, quotes "the standard" from memory, adds a date and a document revision nobody gave it, blames the buyer, and recommends "more training".

Qlause NC / Finding Writer

Picks the process clause (supplier control) with the procedure-not-followed clause as secondary, gives a confidence level, leaves a placeholder for the exact text from your licensed copy, writes checkable evidence, marks the missing revision as a question, and states the requirement not met — about the system, not the person.

Three rules every assistant follows

  1. Requirement first. Every finding, checklist line and gap starts from a real requirement: the standard, your own procedure, a customer requirement or the law. No requirement, no nonconformity.
  2. No invented facts. Anything the assistant doesn't know comes back as a [CONFIRM] question. Suggested causes are labelled hypotheses until your evidence verifies them.
  3. You decide. Every answer ends with what you must check. The assistant drafts; the auditor, engineer or process owner signs off.

Plus one rule for copyright: the assistants never reproduce ISO or IATF text. You get the clause number, a labelled paraphrase, and a placeholder for the exact wording from your licensed copy.

Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini

  • Claude (any plan, including Free): upload each skill once; it switches on when you paste audit or quality material.
  • ChatGPT: paste the universal prompt into a Project or custom GPT.
  • Microsoft Copilot: paste it into an agent — useful when Copilot is the only AI your company allows.
  • Gemini: paste it into a Gem.

The Lite prompt turns rough internal-audit notes into an ISO 9001 nonconformity: requirement, evidence, statement, with a confidence level and the questions to close the gaps. Write mode, ISO 9001 only. Works in any AI chat.

Good habits we build in

  • Follow your company's AI policy before you paste anything.
  • Replace customer names and people's names with roles; the assistants work just as well.
  • Check where your AI tool stores chats, and whether your plan uses them for training.
  • Paste the exact requirement from your licensed copy when a finding depends on it.

Questions

Do I need a paid AI subscription?

No. Claude Skills work on every Claude plan, including Free (switch on "Code execution and file creation"). The universal prompts work in ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini, including their free tiers where custom instructions are available; on any chat you can paste the prompt as your first message.

Will it write findings for me?

It drafts them from your notes and tells you what's missing. You confirm the facts, check the clause in your licensed copy and set the grade.

Does it include the ISO standard?

No, and it never reproduces it. ISO and IATF standards are copyright. The assistants give clause numbers and labelled paraphrases, and ask you to paste the exact wording from your own licensed copy.

Is it accurate for ISO 9001:2026?

The 2026 content is Qlause's paraphrase of the published standard, checked on 27 September 2026, and the Gap Checker covers only what changed. Always confirm against your own copy.

Can my team use it?

The single-pack and bundle licences are for one user. The Team licence covers up to 10 named users in one organisation.

What about confidential data?

Follow your company's AI policy and anonymise customer and personal data. Roles ("the line 2 operator") work as well as names.

How do updates work?

New versions are free to re-download from Payhip for 12 months from purchase; the version number is in every file name.

Is Qlause linked to ISO, IATF or a certification body?

No.

Built on the same method as the Qlause Internal Auditor course, the NC Writing Checklist, the 8D Toolkit and the Documentation Toolkit.
